What We Do

The traditional image of Catholic Sisterhood no longer fits the modern and practical approach we take to our ministries. While we do nurture our spiritual selves in private prayer and contemplation, much of our daily lives are spent in activity, living among those who need our care, teaching and spiritual support.

When Hurricane Mitch ravaged Nicaragua, two of our Sisters were there to help rebuild, and they are still there today. The forsaken inmates on Death Row find a voice, a friend and sometimes a confessor in many Sisters of our community. The elderly, the deaf, the hungry, the desperate and the disheartened find advocates among us.
